Welcome to The Transcription Place. Audios come in many formats such as podcasts, lectures,
speakers, recorded cconferences, one-on-one interviews, research interviews, teleconferences, teleclasses and recorded telephone calls. What could be your reason to transcribe? Providing written information for the hearing impaired, convert recorded lectures to notes, creating written documents for those who prefer them over audios, and a multitude of business applications.

Stay tuned for tips on how you might use transcription to your advantage. I welcome all feedback! Thank you. Sylvia

I am intrigued at the possibilities of transcribing podcasts. There are many I like but I have a hard time keeping track and often want to go back and reread someones name etc. I find having the information in a transcript much easier than listening. Although the podcast is convenient I prefer having information written. thanks.
